Steve Coulthard

Chief Financial Officer, CCG

Steve is an experienced accountant who started his career in the private sector (both in the UK and Australia) before qualifying in 2001 and moving into education as Head of Finance at the Learning & Skills Council (LSC) in Sussex.  

In 2006 Steve went to work as Head of Business Development for the Specialist Schools & Academies Trust (SSAT). After a short stint of consultancy with FE Sussex, he successfully moved into the Director of Finance position at Chichester College in 2011. Steve notes his biggest career achievements to date as his roles in facilitating and implementing the three College mergers between 2017 and 2022. This growth through merger has transformed CCG into one of the largest College Groups in England, enabling more exciting opportunities for all our learners, staff and stakeholders across Sussex and into the future.
