Hear from one of our apprentices

Ebony completed the Production Management Apprenticeship Level 7 with Distinction in September 2024. She now works for the BBC as a Junior Production Manager.

“My apprenticeship gave me the skills and core knowledge of the way the industry works along with the skills and behaviours I would need.”

More Information

An apprenticeship requires you to have full time (30 hours plus a week) employment in the relevant industry, whilst attending college one day per week. You can be employed part time for a minimum of 16 hours per week. However, this will extend the duration you have on the programme.

Your employer will need to support your 20% off the job training requirement and help you track achievement of this using the college software once you are enrolled. The 20% off the job training may include college attendance, evidencing workplace activity, attending external events and general tasks which are substantive new skills.

If you do not have an employer in place, then the apprenticeships team at Chichester College Group can help you to find a suitable role. You can contact the team at apprenticeships@chichester.ac.uk or on 01243 812948.
