Preparing for the Big Day
Graduation is more than just an event – it’s a celebration of your journey! Here’s how to make sure you’re ready:
- Register for Graduation: Confirm your attendance through our online portal. (Sent via email communications). The deadline is Thursday 31 October 2025.
- Gown Hire & Photography: Secure your graduation attire and book professional photos to capture the day’s memories.
- Guests: Each graduate is entitled to bring up to 2 guests. Please register guest tickets during the booking process.
On the day
- Arrival & Collecting Graduation Attire: Graduates must register upon arrival at Chichester College – Main Reception during the Meet & Greet window to collect pre-booked gowns, caps and hoods.
- Professional Photography: If you have purchased a professional photography package from Marston Events, this will take place at Chichester College during your Meet & Greet window.
- Timings: Please aim to arrive at Chichester Cathedral no later than 15 minutes before your ceremony start time to allow for attendee confirmation and seating. Staff will be on hand to signpost the walking route to Chichester Cathedral.
- Post-Event Drinks: Join us after the ceremony for celebratory drinks at Chichester College, where you can relax and enjoy the day with family and friends.
- Cap and Gown Return: After the drinks reception, please return your cap and gown to the designated drop-off area back at Chichester College which will be clearly signposted.
- Submit Your Photos: If you’ve taken any photos throughout the day, you can submit them through our online portal. With your consent, we may feature your photos on our website or social media platforms.

- Parking: On-site parking is available, but can ONLY be accessed at the back of the campus located just off of Cathedral Way roundabout. This is a first come first served basis.
- Accessible parking: Accessible parking is available; please contact us in advance to make arrangements.
- Additional parking: can be found at the Avenue De Chartres multi–storey (local charges will apply) – a 10-minute walk to Chichester College.
- Public Transport: The venue is well-connected by local buses and trains, with Chichester Bus and Train stations just a short walk away.

The CCG Graduation will take place on Thursday 27th November 2025.
All graduates would have been sent an email with their ceremony time and invite to book.
If you have not received your Graduation 2025 invite, please check your junk/spam folder. If it has not found its way there, please email CCGMarketingandCommunications@chigroup.ac.uk for further assistance.
Once initial bookings have closed, the booking system will reopen on the 3rd November 2025 for a short period of time to book additional guest tickets. These tickets are on a first come, first served basis and availability is limited.
We recommend you arrive 2 –3 hours before your ceremony. Within your email invite, there will be a running order of exact times personalised to your ceremony.
All parking for Graduation 2025 will be in our car park at the rear of the college. Parking charges will be suspended for the day but please consider the college is open as normal and parking is on a first come first served basis. We have a small number of Disabled bays at the front of the college too. There is additional parking in the Avenue De Chatres car park a short distance from the college. (Charges will apply).
Absolutely! Photography and filming are allowed during our ceremonies. We do ask you to please be respectful of the people around you when doing so.
Pre-booked graduation caps, gowns and hoods can be collected at Chichester College during your Meet & Greet window.
- The ceremony is planned to proceed, rain or shine. Please bring umbrellas in case of rain as there will be some walking involved.
- In severe weather, updates will be communicated via email and social media

Please ensure you arrive on time, as latecomers will not be permitted to enter the ceremony once it has begun. This policy is in place to avoid disruption during the proceedings and to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees. We recommend arriving early to allow time for seating and check-in. If you miss the start of the ceremony, you will be able to join the post-event celebrations afterward.
Graduation is a formal occasion, and we encourage smart attire to complement the academic gown you’ll be wearing. For graduates, consider wearing business or semi-formal clothing, such as a suit, dress, or blouse with trousers or a skirt. Comfortable shoes are recommended, as you may be standing or walking for extended periods. Keep in mind that caps and gowns will be worn over your clothing, so plan accordingly. Guests are also encouraged to dress smartly, ensuring a respectful and celebratory atmosphere.
