We make a ‘Strong’ impact on skills development
We received the highest possible grade of ‘Strong’ for our work in developing curriculum programme that aligns with skills needs and our exceptional understanding of the skills landscape of our region

Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ status for residential provision
Chichester College Group has received a sixth consecutive ‘outstanding’ inspection grade for care standards in 2025, after a recent inspection of the residential provision at Chichester College by Ofsted.
In the post-inspection report, the college was given outstanding grades in every area and the support and care provision offered to students was among the areas to receive praise.
The inspectors praised the support for students’ wellbeing, describing it as a ‘particular strength of the provision’ and a ‘wide range of professionals ensure that they receive a bespoke, student-led response.’
The report particularly commended the importance placed on student voice, saying it is ‘integral to the day-to-day running of the college…There is an effective and influential student representative group specifically for residential students. Issues that are raised via delegated representatives are responded to effectively.’
The report said: “Residential students make exceptional progress in their education and social skills while living on site.”
It added that there ‘is a high expectation for all students to succeed to the best abilities, and this is reflected not only in their grades but their engagement in enrichment activities…Senior leaders are not resting on their laurels and strive for continued improvement.’
