Governor and Safeguarding Governor

Helen is the Curriculum Deputy Headteacher at Oriel High School in Crawley. In addition to curriculum development, she leads the Oriel Initial Teacher Training Partnership and champions Oriel’s work with its disadvantaged students whilst also still teaching Chemistry. She became a Governor in September 2025, is a member of the Curriculum & Quality Committee and is the Safeguarding Governor.
