Chichester College Group celebrates National ‘Wanted Week’ in support of students with experience of care
Wanted Week is a national campaign running from this Monday 24 to Friday 28 of November, dedicated to celebrate all students across the nation with experience of care.

It is led by the National Association for Managers of Student Services in collaboration with the Care Leaver Covenant.
Displays of support, a social media campaign and awareness signposting are just some of the activities the college group has organised to mark the campaign.
It forms part of National Care Leavers Month, which each year recognises the strength, perseverance, and aspirations of young people who have experienced care.
The 2025 national theme, “Rising as Me” is a call to action for all of us to help create spaces where care experienced students can rise with confidence, pride, and a sense of belonging.
Many students with care experienced face additional barriers in education and employment, from disrupted schooling to limited networks of support.
By shining a light on their stories and celebrating their achievements, we can help ensure every student feels seen, valued, and wanted in our college community.
Lisa Humphries, Associate Principal, said: “We are proud to support Wanted Week and hope that care experienced students can rise with confidence and enjoy a sense of belonging.
“We want to shine a light on their stories and help celebrate their achievements across our colleges.
“Everyone has a part to play, and every young person is truly one in a million.”
