Chichester College Group celebrates results day successes

Students at colleges across Chichester College Group have celebrated fantastic A-level and T Level results this year.

The results for 2024 saw a group-wide A-level pass rate of 97.2%, which is in line with the national average (according to the Joint Council for Qualifications).

And the group’s T Level pass rate sits just above the national average – recording 89% for second year students, compared to a national average of 88.7%.

Haywards Heath College achieved a phenomenal 100% pass rate for its first set of T Level students, while Chichester College recorded an overall T Level pass rate of 90%. This included 100% rates for six subjects.

At Worthing College, a 99% A-level pass rate – and a 100% pass rate in 22 subjects – saw much celebration. Chichester College followed closely with a pass rate of 97%, and Haywards Heath College achieved 96.1%.

Vicki Illingworth, Deputy Chief Executive and Executive Principal at Chichester College Group, said: “We are immensely proud of our students and staff for their outstanding achievements in this year’s A-level and T-level results.

“Their dedication, resilience, and hard work have truly paid off, and these results are a testament to the exceptional quality of education and support provided by our staff across the college group.

“We have also seen high levels of achievement across our level 3 vocational courses, which has been incredible, it is great to see students gaining the skills, knowledge and confidence that employers tell us they need.

“Congratulations to everyone involved – you have set a high standard of excellence and have made us all incredibly proud.”
