Ian Larkham

Governor

Ian started working at the South Eastern Electricity Board, where he attended Crawley College on day release, achieving an HNC in Business and Finance. He then qualified as an accountant and completed his MBA at Henley Business School while overcoming the challenges dyslexia brings.

Ian has gained broad business experience working for organizations in West Sussex, latterly focusing on the not-for-profit sector, holding posts with International NGOs and national charities, including Girlguiding UK. In addition, he helped to establish a new partnership with the Prince’s Trust at one charity, enabling young adults to start new businesses and is passionate about helping children and adults achieve their full potential through the gift of learning and education.

Ian is an active member of his local community. He is a Governor and Chair of the Finance and Resources committee for a secondary school. He volunteers with young people at a YMCA hostel helped establish a CAP debt centre in his local town and fosters with his wife.
Ian joined CCG in January 2025 and is a member of the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
