Embarking on a university-level course at Chichester College Group (CCG) is an exciting step towards achieving your academic and career goals. To cater to this, we offer a wide range of university-level courses across six of our campuses – Brighton, Brinsbury, Crawley, Chichester, Northbrook, and Worthing.  

We offer a range of degree-level courses in a broad range of subjects, so if you are interested in pursuing a career in science, engineering, or the creative industries, we have you covered.

Applying made easy

Applying for one of our many university-level courses is straight forward:  

  • Online Application – visit our course listings to find your desired program – you can then either directly apply to us, or via UCAS.   
  • Guaranteed Interview – all direct applicants are guaranteed an interview, ensuring you have the opportunity to showcase your potential.  
  • No Application Fees – if CCG is your only choice, you won’t incur any application fees.  
  • Financial Support – eligible students can receive a one-off £250 bursary to assist with study costs.  
  • Dedicated Guidance – our team offers personalised support, including assistance with Disabled Student Allowance and Student Finance applications.  

Once accepted, you’ll receive everything you need for enrolment, including ID checks, timetables, and how to access our systems. We’ll guide you through it all.

Choosing the Right Course for You

Choosing the right course for you is a big step, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming, here are some tips to make things easier:  

  • Follow your interests – Pick a subject you genuinely enjoy — it’ll help keep you motivated throughout your studies.  
  • Think about your goals – What kind of job or industry excites you? Choose a course that moves you closer to that future.  
  • Check the details – Look at course content, modules, and assessment styles. Make sure it matches how you like to learn.  
  • Visit an open day – Talk to tutors, explore campuses, and get a feel for what studying here is really like.  
  • Ask for advice – Our staff are here to help — whether you’re unsure between two courses or just starting your research.

What’s next? Getting ready for your first semester

Once you have chosen the course that is right for you, it is time to start getting ready for your first semester. Here are a few things you can expect and start preparing for, as you start gearing up for your first semester

  • Sort your study supplies – Notebooks, laptop, folders — whatever helps you stay organised.  
  • Plan your time – once you receive your timetable, start to plan your days to maximise how you use your time.  
  • Getting to college – do some research as to how you will get to campus each day – details on travel and transport can be found on each of our college websites.  
  • Questions or Queries – starting university can throw up all kinds of different questions – please feel free to reach out to us if there is anything you want to ask, we are always happy to help.
